How long does it take to install?

About 15 minutes. Removing the old passive wheel is the trickiest part,

but we’ve built a custom extraction tool to make it easy.

Is it waterproof?

Yes! Rated IP67, meaning it can be submerged up to 1 meter for 30

minutes. (But let’s keep it on deck 😉)

Yes, it carries the CE mark and meets EU health, safety, and

environmental standards.

What other compliance standards does it meet?

MobilePilot is RED (Radio Equipment Directive) and RoHS compliant,

ensuring it’s both safe and environmentally friendly.MobilePilot is

IP67-rated, so it’s protected against dust and can handle being

submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.

Battery life?

4–6 hours in motion, depending on sea conditions and route.

Can I connect it to my boat’s power?

Yes — it's fully plug & play. Want a permanent setup? A certified

installer can wire it in for you.

Does it work offline?

Yes. It uses GPS satellite. Just download offline maps from the app in advance.

Does MobilePilot need to be calibrated?

Most boats won’t need it, but some may require minor adjustments.

Auto-calibration via AI is on the way. If you notice oscillation, just reach out and we’ll help fine-tune it sharing our callibration guide.

Can I relax while it drives?

Not entirely — it’s a navigation assistant, not a substitute for a licensed operator.

Do I need a boat license?

Yes. MobilePilot is a support tool, not a substitute for responsible

navigation.

Does it connect to NMEA2000?

Yes. It can be connected to any display on the boat.You’ll need an additional Actisense module to convert Wi-Fi to

NMEA2000 (pre-configured).

Can I connect it to my plotter?

Yes, MobilePilot supports NMEA2000 integration; it only requires an additional Actisense 2K-1 module. MobilePilot is compatible with any plotter, and through the app you can switch between phone control and boat display control to set waypoints directly from your plotter. The module can be purchased from the official distributor, and Searebbel will provide a configuration guide to ensure proper setup.
