Does MobilePilot need to be calibrated?
Most boats won’t need it, but some may require minor adjustments. Auto-calibration via AI is on the way. If you notice oscillation, just reach out and we’ll help fine-tune it using our calibration guide.
Can I relax while it drives?
Not entirely — it’s a navigation assistant, not a substitute for a licensed operator.
Do I need a boat license?
Yes. MobilePilot is a support tool for responsible navigation, not a substitute.
Does it connect to NMEA2000?
Yes. It can be connected to any display on the boat. You’ll need an additional Actisense module to convert Wi-Fi to NMEA2000 (pre-configured), making it compatible with your distribution management system.

Can I connect it to my plotter? Yes, MobilePilot supports NMEA2000 integration; it only requires an additional Actisense 2K-1 module. MobilePilot is compatible with any plotter, allowing you to switch seamlessly between phone control and boat display control to set waypoints directly from your plotter. This integration enhances your distribution management capabilities when using marine products. The module can be purchased from the official distributor, and Searebbel will provide a configuration guide to ensure proper setup.
