Our entire product range is designed to deliver a minimum UV dose of 20 mJ/cm , allowing a minimum abatement of 5 log ecoli. Our PREMIUM range has been certified according to the norm M5873-1 standard, attesting a UV dose of 40 mJ/cm by biodosimetric measurement, required for the use in production and distribution of drinking water.
uvoji products are designed and sold for a nominal flow rate that ensures the required UV dose for optimal disinfection. It is therefor recommended to install a flow limiter upstream of the product, set to the nominal flow rate of the product purchased. If the nominal flow rate is exceeded, the equivalent UV dose delivered by the product will be lower.

It is the UV-C which has a strong germicidal, bactericidal and virucidal power. The UV-C photons will directly attack the nucleic acids that make up the DNA and RNA of viruses, bacteria and other pathogens, in order to inactivate them by damaging their genetic material with their energy, and prevent them from replicating.
The concept of water purification is obtained by combining the effect of water disinfection by the LED UV-C reactor, and water filtration by a set of filter cartridges available on our website. The filtration will eliminate suspended solids, reduce tastes and odors or the presence of heavy metals.
The nominal duration of operation is more than 5000h effective, the system functioning only during the phases of water use (not functioning H24 contrary to the systems with mercury lamp), that is to say more than 10 years for a normal domestic use. The 5000h limit corresponds to the moment when the LEDs will have reached 80% of their nominal power, they continue to function but a warning light will indicate that it is necessary to replace the optical module or the product for a new generation.
The product integrates a UV sensor which allows to measure in real time the UV irradiance of the product and thus to know its state of functioning. If a low threshold is reached, the product will alert the user of a defect or the end of the product's life (after more than 10 years of normal domestic use)
